New die casting machine in operation
In October 2006 Laukötter put into operation a new 2,700 t die casting machine, manufactured by Bühler and with a locking force of 2,700 t. The machine is capable of casting both magnesium and aluminium alloys.
An additional die casting machine with a 2,000 t locking force is planned for the first quarter of 2007.
